Usage Rights

Included by default with your commish

• You can post the artwork anywhere you like.
• You can crop it/scale it/save it in other formats, print it out, use it as profile pic/banner/avatar, get it tattooed onto your spleen, etc.
• You will use the artwork privately, without making money with it or using it for your business.
• You can transfer these usage rights to 1 (ONE) new owner should you sell your personal character(s) featured in the artwork.
  • The new owner does not gain any additional usage rights beyond those that you were originally granted.
  • It is your duty to inform them of this.

How I will use your commission

• We’ll agree on a single version of your artwork (if there are multiple versions) as a public version.
  • I’ll post that public version in my accounts.
    (You are free to post whatever versions you like, be it all versions or none – they don’t have to match the public one.)
  • I’ll make a higher res copy of the public version available to my supporters, and it may also be featured in a monthly/yearly art recap/collection at that same higher resolution.
• I’ll give credit to you as commissioner (and character owner where applicable).
  • If you wish me to link to your accounts, you will tell me what they are.

Notes

• I won’t be obligated to delete artworks, change credit, description details, alter details in the artwork for free, or take any other action that was not agreed upon during the creation of your commission. That includes you quitting the internet or deleting all your stuff.
• I’m not responsible for the context or the choice of websites on which you present your artworks.
• TLDR; Our arrangement concerns the creation of the artwork and beyond that I’m not involved in what you do with it.
• If you wish to sell NFTs of your commission or use them in crypto-schemes you must obtain the necessary usage permissions by making use of the Business Commission type as listed below.

Usage Rights Add-Ons

Private Commission

Price: +50% to all prices

Example: €350+19%VAT as regular commission, €525+19%VAT as private commission.

• You wish to keep the commission private and confidential.
• You will not be listed in my slots, but instead as a “Private Commission #1234” entry without further details.
• I will not be posting the artwork anywhere, indefinitely.
• You will be the sole user of the artwork.
• You will use the artwork privately, without making money with it or using it for your business.

Commercial Usage / Business Commission

Price: +250% to all prices

Example: €350+19%VAT as regular commission, €875+19%VAT as private commission.

• You wish to use the artwork for a commercial product / your business / any other purpose by which you generate sales and money for yourself or a/your company.
• You wish to sublicense the usage of the artwork, or make derivatives of it available for money, or use it as part of your own paid service offerings.
• You will not be required to give credit or list me by name anywhere.
• You may brand the artwork with your own business/service.
• You gain the benefits of a private commission as well.
• You may amend the contract with an NDA if you wish.
• You may use your commissioned artwork as part of NFTs or crypto activities.

If your business is located in the EU, and you have a valid EU Business VAT ID, the 19%VAT can be dropped and you will be issued a reverse-charge invoice instead.
